Rhett Buttle

Rhett Buttle is an entrepreneur, advocate, and one of the most trusted leaders at the intersection of business and policy. He has held senior roles shaping policy and engagement for the White House Business Council, a governor’s office, and multiple presidential campaigns.

He is the founder of Public Private Strategies (PPS), an organization that brings together the public and private sectors to build coalitions and create strategic partnerships that drive both policy and market outcomes.


Rhett helped launch the Next Gen Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Innovation Summit, and Small Business for America’s Future. He also leads the Small Business Roundtable, the largest coalition of small business leaders in the United States, and founded the Entrepreneurship Exchange, which convenes business leaders from around the world to promote commerce and diplomacy.


In addition, he serves as a Senior Fellow at The Aspen Institute, where he helps lead economic programming for The Aspen Ideas Festival and is part of the founding team for its economic forum.
